Lets start by stating that we all know insuring a HP2 in South Africa is problematic.......

We all know that the bikes are worth at least R140 000 to R160 000 in the open market, yet the retail book value
on it is something like R75 000.
So if you have a total loss on it, you will only get around 50% out of what the REAL value of the bike is.
This has been a problem for quite long time and it is getting worse................because the book value drops, but the
real life market prices go up.

This is not the case with all bikes. The only other bike with the same problem is the KTM 950 Super Enduro.
But this offer is not for the KTM's......

I have a solution for this.....

Made a deal with an insurer that is willing to insure the bike for an agreed value, which will probably be between R140 000 to R160 000.
The idea would be that a BMW Motorrad dealership should supply you with a valuation certificate or at least an email indicating the value
of the bike and describing the value that they would sell the bike for on their showroom floor.....
If you can supply the valuation, we would be able to insure the bike for that amount.....

With an insured value of around R160 000, we are looking at a monthly premium of just over R500.

Let me know if you are interested, then we can chat and go in to finer details.....
