WR250 2006 issues?
« on: August 17, 2017, 12:57:39 pm »
I am just toying with the idea of a ring a ding and have a good condition WR250 available, it's a 2006 but in good condition not used hard, any big issues? Any idea of value?
Somebody said to me at the weekend, they have been off work with Covid so long, they're getting a Scouse accent.....

By ring a ding do you mean a 2t? They were only produced until something like '99 IIRC. 2006 would be a last 4t steel frame I think. Value probably about 20k. Around 25-28 for a alu frame
Current: KTM 690R

I think those 2 stroke wr 's were 200 cc so I am guessing a yz 250 with the wr conversion "gearbox and weighted flywheel long range tank " and then it should be alu frame the price estimate seems right  :thumleft:

Nice long range tank as well, mt 2006 TE610 also had the Marzocchi / Sachs suspension and it worked great  :thumleft: If the price is right buy.

Blue and yellow is older, 2007 should be Red and Black.

I have a 2003 WR 250 , not a single issue so far. Has plenty bottom end for technical riding. Mine is a blue and yellow
