So Lesotho emphasised the importance of fold mirrors. Got them and the bracket that broke.
The thread on the other piece got damaged, I'd say first 4mm or so. I need this for it to grip however a longer bolt won't solve the issue (guess temporarily) however, it'll only go in so far.
Short of ordering the other piece which appear to be the front brake assembly is there anything else I can do. This seems like an expensive fix but will have to do it if boils down to a replace.
Making a new thread might work but it'll mean making the hole bigger on the clamp for a larger bolt. The size 8 that goes in there is "loose" the first 4mm thereafter it grips.
