Suzuki DL 1000 V-Strom
Hi, I bought an awesome 2009 DL1000 two weeks ago and have been commuting with it and what an awesome bike for the price I paid.
I have to say reports of people reaching 100 000km and more certainly made the decision easier.
Unfortunately at low load (cruising 80-120kph) with light throttle the bike surges a bit. I read up and understand that the freeflow pipes could well be the reason...

I don't want to go break the bank on adapting the fuelling (yes, I did check the TPS setting is correct as per forum details with the dealer mode active on the dash)
Ok, so not breaking the bank would be buying a 2nd hand Power Commander at less than half the new cost. But herein lies the rub: Is it just a question of figuring out the difference between the bike that it was made for and putting Suzuki connectors on with the correct pinout or is there some more things one should think about?

I look forward to your responses - thanks guys
