Piston Petrus - JY's 'N YSTER!!!!

Pete - you are a legend in my books  - for organising everything with Johan and Magda at Eendekuil Hotel (further LEGENDS in my books) - on your own, without request and tirelessly going at it - to make sure no one went home without a prize.

You are a star mate - truly awesome dude  :thumleft:

An enormous thank you to our sponsors must be sent out - their participation made the event end with a cherry on top  :ricky:

Pics and stories to follow later  :pot:

Piston pete - thanks for the organising!

And a big thank you to Johan & Magda, proprietors of that fine establishment called Eendekuil Hotel for all their organisational thingies. I thought the marked off tent areas was just brilliant - very glad however that I was sleeping far away from the corner with that ear shuddering earthmoving machine which was operational throughout the night  ;D

And to all the WD members which I met during the weekend - it was great and may this be the first of many! I can now also refer to "those vaalies" without being hipocritical (coming from someone with a GP plate . . .)  :peepwall:

Thanks pistonpete for your hard work; kudos to the sponsors for stepping up!; thanks to Eendstop & Co. for their great venue and hospitality; thanks to the WDs that made the event what it was.

Good meeting some new people, looking forward to the next get-together! :)

Living doing something that you love is a good idea.
Living until you die is a good idea. If living happens to kill you it means you made a mistake, but we are human, and humans make mistakes, so go for it, enjoy it, live until you die, rather than not living for your whole life.

OK guys, here are the Friday night party pics.

Fidel & Mark Hardy discussing quantum physics

Lito & Pistonpete getting romantic

The general bar area

Newguy showing his camo battle gear. It proved pretty useless coz he was spotted by the enemy and got bombed‚?¶

WD Fireplace

Lito‚??s fuel pump was misbehaving (loose wire or sumfink). FourieKop was loving the fact that a KTM had ‚??broken down‚?Ě That‚??s him flexing
In the background‚?¶

Lito getting some more flack from FourieKop (now sporting a BMW cap), Mark Hardy & N[]va. Looks like he sommer checked Mark‚??s oil
In the process‚?¶

Fidel engaging in some more man love with the giants. FourieKop & Dustsucker.

Lots of these were had

And inevitably resulted in this‚?¶ (FourieKop & Bradley‚??s)

Pic of Eendekuil back in the day‚?¶

Fidel force feeding Dustsucker (Or talking him to sleep‚?¶)

Some dogs turned in early despite warnings from yours truly‚?¶ Frohan was one of the soft cocks.
We decided to pay him a visit‚?¶ and break down his tent‚?¶ Wanabee in action...

The Wall of Fame (shame?) in the main bar made for some interesting reading‚?¶

At this stage everyone was well ge-trollie and the love was blossoming all over the place‚?¶

Especially Mark & Bradley‚??s

GoGirl & Shirley

Some more Mark

Bradley‚??s alter ego, Beau Brummel, also showed up‚?¶

This is all I could manage to take. At this stage my fingers were so drunk that I couldn‚??t operate the camera anymore.

Anyways, that‚??s the Friday night drinks report from my side then.

I hope someone actually took some riding pics‚?¶

Wasn‚??t that the whole idea of the Bash‚?¶?

And here come my pics :D

Traveling on Friday morning to the bash we stopped for a smoke and to take a look at some flowers, my gorgeous girl Jo

myself looking a bit on the rough side early in the morning

My (bmw certified  :patch:) bungy cord luggage system

this simple sign stopped allot of the dogs from killing a few in their sleep  :deal:

lekka pool

Magda's pimping pink 1150gs  :ricky:

The pre "xcountry" state of the mud "puddle"

I realized that I had a duty to fulfill... I had to prepare the "puddle" for the arrival of the other dogs

added traction on the side of the "puddle"

and back to work...  :ricky:

one of my favs for the weekend :D

not nearly muddy enough yet

"Moooooooooar mud is required!"

Our solo tent before the dogs arrive

back to work

After letting the "puddle" settle for a bit and having a beer I got back to work

getting there....

chilling out for lunch

the "what do you mean I should leave some mud for the others?!" look

I decided I needed to share some of the mud with GoGirl's 950 (OMFG what an awesome bike btw!)

nearly ready

Bradly's 640 and the KTM 690 Enduro demo :D

Mark Hardy decided to join in the fun

At which point I started missing the mud and came to play with him

The scorps struggling to bite in to the juicy mud

GoGirl checking out the action

Bit later that evening Bradly's giving Dewalt (sp?) a voltaren injection

I went to show off my hard work to a few of the dogs

the happy mud dog :D

Lito and PistonPete

After watching Lito strip and fix his fuel pump I am of the belief that he can fix any thing anywhere... watch bus lining up for a maneuver

bit of rewiring and all sorted

Not sure who is to blame for this.... I just took the pics

Early next morning we set off for a ride to get some breakfast

Some pics of the landscape being covered by the early mist

GoGirl and Pete's mate cruising along

GoGirl

Jo and I happy to be on the road

Looking down across the valley

DeWalt seems to always be thinking pink  :peepwall:

Mark Hardy taking the 690 for a spin while we waiting for food

more pics to follow

GoGirl gliding over the sand

even the geen-sand was cruising

Fidel motoring along like a pro

Dogs riding off into the distance

Lito & Amanda making it look easy

?

Yours truly <3'ing the sand

have to lol every time I see my helmets silver bek

chilling after the ride

Newguy showing his bear as a beam of light shines down for the heavens

Warming up for the barrel races

Fidel showing us how it's meant to be done

Lito vs Fidel

the 950SE tearing the ground apart

Shacking hands after its over

Me doing a practice run, on which I almost high sided  :o

Mark Hardy vs N[]vA

Me looking over as Mark Hardy stalled

This picture says it all :D "WHHHHYYYYY!!!!!!!!!"

Newguy vs ?

Whacked cornering skills

Evidence! Newguy roosting the bmw's

The lawn took some abuse that day

Fidel vs Newguy

A smoke to calm the nerves

Getting ready for the slow pillion race.... decided to turn the preload up before letting PistonPete mount the pillion seat

still more preload

The tail end of Lito's plan....  :peepwall:

Lito and Amanda having a good time

Mark hardy and Bradley's doing it their own way

My poor Xcountry almost died under Pete and my weight

Pete flying the birdie

Lining up for the race

Almost flipped backwards when Pete stood up

Sorry GoGirl didnt catch on that it was your bike I was roosting =\

Lost another plate again....

Nice and dirty the way all bm's should be

Waking up the next morning

On the way home we stopped to take a few pics of the flowers
