Afternoon all
I bought a 276c new in 2006 and it has been working great untill about 2 months ago. It startied feezing while on the bike and only way of getting it going again was to take the battery out. I took it to Garmin in Cape Town and after 3 days they came back and said it needs a software upgrade but they cannot do it with a USB cable, only the "round" cable. They cannot find any such cable in SA. A cable on ebay is about R500, without any guarantee that it will work. So according to them I must throw away the GPS and buy a new one. Not acceptable to me. Anybody got any idea's, help, advice etc ?
