My issue is on a 1990 XT600, having some issue with flickers. If I press switch for right side it gives constant (not alternating) 12V and light on dash comes on. Press left and it gives constant 12V but no light on dash and I can hear a relay click. If I try and connect a flicker voltage drops to 5V. Need to note I tested without the bike running (still working on it) and battery is quite old. Pretty sure all the wiring is correct as plugs can only go one way.
Could be relay or battery ?
