I started my bike today after n small rebuild. Engine sounds good but have some questions. Previous dry sump bikes I have had you could not see the oil as it was in the frame. On the XT it is in a seperate oil tank. From the top I can see lots of bubbles now as I understand that means the oil pump is circulating and working. At first I got a fright thought that fuel might have gotten into the oil. Difficult to photograph what do you think ?
The bike leaks fuel at thediaphragm pump sitting just below the tool box I will have a look at that but if I switch it off it sounds water running out of a bath ! Could it be a breather issue on the tank or diaphragm ?
