Okay, the famine is over. Finally.
After what felt like a lifetime, I'm back on 2 wheels again.
The feeling is immense, I missed every single day of it. Business, life, kids and the lot had to come first.
1st pics of of my 1st love, which I still miss dearly. These pics were from 2009 when I just bought it in ct and rode back to jhb via the Buff. One can ever only once experience this feeling once.
How when the time came, I was fortunate to be in a position to opt for something a bit newer. Contemplated much about what to get. An 1190r was high om the cards, but in the end sanity prevailed and I'm back on a boxer.
I'm completely over the moon with the machine. It goes like stink and has many little gadgets to explore.
Thanks to Peet pc2e who sold it to me and made the deal possible and effortless. Still waiting for the boxes to arrive, which will complete the picture. :ricky:
Hanno at madmax sorted me with jacket that fits :
, and Werner at flying brick greatly relieved me of some further cash today in exchange for a nifty topboxxy and helmet speaker system.
Farksteaks, this almost feels like a wedding speech, but also thanks Oppie for taking care of the insurance side. :deal:
