Good morning all,

Anyone with knowledge of a surge starting with the a whinnying noise from the ABS pump or possibly the ABS pump causing the surge some how. My thinking is that the ABS pump goes high wire and start pulling to much power and causing the fuel/ignition system to take strain. I can hear the noise once I stop. Once the surge start I turn the ignition off while riding and back on then she runs good again for a while.

My next test will be to unplug the ABS and test it like that.

I've re done the bike in Dec 2016. I had to replace the crank seal and then I ended up powder coating and respraying the hole bike. I've set the timing, checked throttle cables and balanced throttle bodies. She starts easy, idles perfect and has plenty of grunt.

I still need to change the exhaust system as I opened the resonator and see that the channels inside are burnt away and something is rattling inside the silencer.

Anyone with some info for me on this problem?
