Suzuki DR-Z 400
Howdy, my name is Levi from San Francisco. For the last few months, I've been riding a 2008 DR-Z400S around southern Africa. Tonight, I met a group of folks from your forum and was convinced to write an intro here.

I've done a fair bit of riding. With my father, I rode down to the southern tip of South America from The States back in 2008/9 (you can read about it here: https://longridesouth.com). A few years ago, I also rode a circuit from SF up to the Arctic Ocean in Alaska and back. I've ridden through 46 US states, and 23 countries.

After working as a corporate whore for 10 years, I quit my job, lived in an old ambulance filled with speakers (The Jambulance), renovated a house, prepped my motorcycle, and shipped it to Cape Town. So far, I've been to AfrikaBurn, and through Namibia, Botswana, and Zambia, and will be tackling Sani Pass tomorrow morning.

I've been keeping a travel blog here: https://revlev.com but figured I'd introduce myself here to say hi. So far I've been amazed by the general lack of motorcycle traffic I've seen (probably less than 10 ADV bikes in 5 months, until today), so here's hoping I cross paths with more of y'all.

Shiny side up, my friends :)
