DL 1000 or Varadero. Which of the two can do same on and off road to GS 1200?
If you got ride pics, info specs etc. Please share. Myself and a friend are interested. The GS is just too expensive all round with too much electronics.
Im looking for a reliable long distance pillion friendly gravel and maybe a rock or two friendly travel buddy (as in bike).
Looking at a DL 1000 or a Varadero. From what I know they both should play with a GS 1200 but look more like a road bike. Am I wrong?
Opinions, suggestions and knowledge is greatly appreciated.
Presently ride DR 650. Love it, but not long distance load and pillion friendly. Want same reliability, just bigger without getting top heavy or breaking the bank on every service.
Less electronics is good and self service next to roads in middle of Gods country is required.
