I need to tension the timing chain on my CTX200 as its noisy.
I have removed the starter as it sits in the way of the cap. Also had to remove the axhaust so the starter can come out.
Now I have the cap off and can see the adjuster.
My problem is if the engine needs to run when I adjust, I have to put the starter back and I wont be able to reach the adjuster again.
Am I missing something?
Why would it be necessary to remove the exhaust, to remove the starter to be able to get the cap off. Then reinstall exhaust and starter so I can adjust the timing  hain and remove everything again to put the cap back. Then reinstall again.
Or is there some special tool I need?
Please help!
