I met the mud monster this weekend.....
« on: October 16, 2017, 07:50:02 am »
So I've had my bike for over two years now and this weekend, I attempted Enduro Pro mode for the first time. Call it respect, call it being a banggat. I now have even more respect for this machine than ever before. Enduro pro is such a gas but don't get cocky or the beast will tame you in a split second.

Yup, I know about respecting the bike and pro mode but sometimes it just needs to be used. Iíve had times that with the traction control on itís gotten me into more trouble because the bike did not allow me to ďget outĒ of the situation.

Great picture. Looks like there was fun there before the side stand incident. Either those lines in the mud was showing you had great control till the end or this wild stallion took you for a ride.

Thx for sharing.
Rory

Agree with you Rory, pro mode actually puts you in control and if you know how to handle it, it is immense fun....powersliding into and out of corners is my new favorite thing. :ricky:

We did the canals this morning, after last nights rains I can reliably advise that the Mud Monster is alive and well, I lost count of how many "Oohhh SH...T" moments I had, but I didn't put it down just one 90 degree right turn into the undergrowth. beestkraal station was excellent as always, the food better than I remember it.

Met him...less than pleasant. :thumleft:
Hoping never to meet again! Or any of his relatives!
