Roof of Africa 2017
« on: October 21, 2017, 06:05:28 am »
Less than 3 weeks to go! Who is riding? What are your racing numbers? Who may be going to spectate and support?

I will kick start - my son Josh Thorburn riding Gold - race number 25

I know there are a few more - edgy’s son Tristan and Great Danes son Taylor doing Bronze. There is Tman and I am sure a few others?

Let’s get some support going for this awesome extreme hard enduro that is celebrating its 50th year!

Is there a list or map with spectator points somewhere?

This being my 28th Roof of Africa - either racing, crewing or managing teams, this time I go down with only one objective - to provide my 17 year old son with the opportunity to finish Bronze. Keep an eye out for Adam Bac, Roof rider # 221, on a Yamaha YZ 125 X (for the Roof we will be running a 144cc big bore kit). A finish is our goal!!

I'll keep my eyes open for the young man! Good luck, Adrian.
