Air temp failure ice warning

Hi all,

I have a 2014 KTM 1190 Adventure that has started to display the following errors: Air Temperature Failure & Ice Warning. The ambient temperature keeps on jumping between -10.5 degrees and actual temp. My guess would be either an Ambient Temperature Sensor failure or loose/frayed connection. Any help regarding what to look for and where will be appreciated, as I do not think it is serious enough to take to KTM and pay their NASA Engineers' prices.
