I attended this morning until the mass ride took off, unfortunately I couldn't get the day off.........
Got there shortly after 6 and WOW, I don't think anyone imagined the magnitude of this gathering to be so huge.
As far as the eye could see, it was vehicles and people.

Not going into detail (for blood pressure/emotional reasons), but fact remains, it was/is one amazing event, absolutely enormous, and if anybody does not acknowledge it, they are truly just plain ignorant, it's too big to miss.
History:
1) 2008 Vuka XT125 (sold)     2) 2013 Motomia Java 170 (sold)     3) 2000 Honda XRV750 Africa Twin (sold)     4) 1994 Honda CBR600 F2 (sold)     5) 2004 Honda XL650V Transalp (sold)     6) 2004 BMW R1200GS (current)

Me and wify are in black today.

There was a row of trucks in Melkbos this morning with workers displaying placards with "Stop farm murders"

Would have loved to join the ride.

I saw that.  I wonder if he feels the same way about the stop violence against women and children, stop rape, etc.  campaigns out there.

Well I'm proud to say I've just attended the Southern Cape one in Mbay -  all I can say is - masses and masses of people - all races!!!! I drove 4th from the front (in my bakkie) behind some tractors. We started from Hartenbos - past Voorbay and through Mbay - then left towards Danabay. At Danabay I left the que., returned on N2 to re-enter at Langeberg Mall - just to find the back of the que!!!!  :o

I am proud to be called a Boer!!!!

Seems a truck charged into the protestors on the N4 near Middelburg, unconfirmed reports from a witness on site states at least 2 farmers killed, with a number injured. :dousing:
