I bought a new toy 2 years ago and have been having a ball, unfortunately only on the Vaal, but plans are to invest in a bigger boat and leave our shores in the near future.

Here are a few photos, will describe each one, not all are on SuziQ.

First -Vaal dam sunset
Second - Stadt 34 that i will be crewing on for the 2020 Cape2Rio
Third - Vaal dam sunset
Fourth - Rose Bay Vaal dam
Fifth - Cape Town Waterfront on a H23 Romy Jane
Sixth - Table Bay with Robbin Island in the background on Romy Jane
Seventh - Having dinner on SuziQ vaal dam

Followed basic the same route ... it is called big boat fever ... it is heavily contagious ..

Started with hobie ... on to a Holiday23 on the Vaal Dam ... man that is a gem of a place to have up there ... you can go sailing for days ... then a big boat will lot of happy miles ... there are worse fevers to get than big boat fever ... just relax , take it on the chin and reach for  your children's inheritance money ... that is the only thing that keep the fever under control

Thats so funny!

Here is a pic - I believe your noat might be the one on the right? Pic taken 9th July this year.
We saw you on Saturday night/Sunday morning - we were in a sand-coloured square house on the right of Rose bay as you leave - 3 properties up from where you were moored - we were sitting on the veranda watching you leave - did you per chance get grounded a little before you hoisted the main-sail?

We were discussing the advantages of a sail-boat over a house, mooring costs etc.....

Haha! you can run but you can't hide!

yeap that was us, SuziQ-left, Indulgence-middle and Chinnok-right. I have made some very good friends on the vaal, great bunch of people.

Nope i didn't grounded it that day, but did touch the bottom this last weekend :pot: I usually set off without the motor and this weekend I was a bit slow in hoisting the main sail so got blown back a little to far, also instuments where set incorrectly for the depth. :imaposer:

Beautiful places along the shore line.
