So about 10km from work Monday morning bike developed Krrr metalish grinding noise on shifts and deceleration.
Was silent under power so gently rode to the office.
Bike was put on a trailer to Bikestyle and preliminary assessment is front nuckle disintegration and perhaps gearbox damage.
Being stripped now for full assessment.
Will definitely require new/secondhand shaft it seems.
Any advise or tips to save R's during the process or repair?
