Something I have seen before , and again today , earlier on I bumped into 3 guys on their BMW's , all kitted with panniers and one of them a topbox as well , when I asked where they had been to for the weekend I was given a quizzical look and told that they had just done a breakfast run .
My question is as follows , why have the panniers and topboxes on for a day ride when the majority are empty anyway , surely it would make more sense to have them off , or am I missing something really important ?
