Nice pics Splash. There are also some (older) motorcycles at the Brussels Motor Museum. Amongst others they have a NR750 there which is quite cool. Not sure if you’ve been there?

It is near the military museam (where the have an F16 in good shape and a decent Spitfire). Both are adjacent to that park at the east end of the road with all the EU buildings. I seem to recall “Jubelpark” but may be wrong. It is where their version of the Arc de triomphe is.

Will put it on my list. Thanks for the suggestion.

The statue is near the railway station. I think they just liked it as it is all relatively new. Leuven is a university town.

I was there two weeks ago. Was also disappointed with all the graffiti on many of the "old" buildings. Also saw tons of beggars which i was surprised about. Amazed at how many GS's I saw.

Cool, looks fun :thumleft:

A dutchman told me today that to get a car or motorbike licence in Holland, you need at least 35 lessons and at about R750 each it becomes a very expensive story. But then they teach you everything from accident avoidance to riding over poles and stumps, in the event something falls off a truck. Insurance is also not based on the price of the vehicle, but remains the same even though the value of the vehicle depreciates. However if there's a claim, you only get paid the "value on the day" - literally, what your car is worth on that particular day.
