I did a ride out to Vaalplasie in Lindequesdrif on the Vaal river yesterday. I can recommend it if you are riding in the Parys/Vaal river area
It is about 15km on the Joburg side of Parys, good for a pizza and beer stop.
They have a VW bus theme so if you like all things VW, this is the place for you.
They also do camping and hire out caravans. You can even hire out the whole place if you are having a function. They have river frontage for fishing.

It is very laid back, they seem to only do pizza and only have one pizza oven so the food takes a while
