« on: December 04, 2017, 10:44:06 am »
Hello all

Picked my kle2006 up this weekend...need help on following and if have parts please pm me:

Parts needed:
Crash bars
Braded hose for front brake ( dont know if really necessary now)

Then advise:

I want to fit taller side stand cause stock one is really shitty, bike leans way to much for my liking?
Also want to fit temp and fuel gauge, is this possible?
Lastly where can i find someone to fit 12v socket for charging phone ens?

Thank you

Congrats on your new ride.. :thumleft:

Crash bars I think can still be got from ChrisL here on the forum. See here.

Braded hoses, I wouldn't worry about. Mine are still fine after nearly 50 000km.

As for the side stand see here,

I managed to get one which I think may be off an old KDX, not sure. If you near a second hand bike parts shop, take yours off and go see what you can find..

You can take the bike to my mechanic, he will put a 12V in for you

My side stand is also a bit straight up.. do you perhaps know if there is a centre stand available for these bikes?

Yes they are.  Quite expensive though.  Can't remember the make.  Just put bobbins on the swingarm.  I use a paddock stand.
