OK, we might have a project on our hands (My son and me)
It seems the bike is a 82 XL500R without a tank or rear fender/structure and some other parts that are missing.
Before Dad starts spending anything.....
Can anybody help us with a comprehensive workshop manual for this bike ?
Needed to determine what is actually missing and assisting dad (that's me ) in making a decision to proceed?
Once I have a manual we will move this to the project section...
From what I see from this farm shed found is
missing rear fender and any structure that links to the rear assembly
Top part of carburettor - have an option to buy XR carb from Dominic
Some plastics
Clutch and brake levers
petrol tank
Need wiring diagramme to see what goes where...
etc....
Help would be appreciated...
