True Story:

2 guys on 1000cc bikes went on a long ride - to Namibia in fact.

By pure coincidence and with relevance to this thread, the one was an Africa Twin and the other a KTM. Both came back alive and well, with huge smiles and photos and videos and wrote about it here, a "RIDE REPORT" they called it  .. anyone here still remember this concept ..?

Then another guy went happily around the world on a C90 ...

The real reasoning for the so-called "handbag fight" is to discredit any possible opinion that the AT is the better adv bike....
If we have to lable the evaluaters as being idiots, we do that! And to make double sure we insult the poster as much as possible too!

The only question that still concerns me: Is Werner/Renrew really the 32yr old well be-spoken spoilt brat from Sandton with an obsession with KTM - strangely never showing pictures or RR's, or is he the "joker" character established by ......., to spice up the forum a bit ....

That 701 with the rally kit is nice, but what a lot of extra kak you going to have to pick up after a fall.

A screen is also a big hindrance riding technical routes, you need to see the front wheel.
