GSA 1200 LC - Fuses
« on: December 19, 2017, 12:15:51 pm »
Hi.  Need some advice on fuses please.

I used to store my bike in storage that had power so I could hook up a Ctek and leave the bike.

New storage does not have power so only 2 options are to either remove the main fuses or disconnect the battery each time. Mission to disconnect, got to have spanner, remove cover, little bolts get all rounded.

So I removed the two spade fuses under the front seat that are in a lead that plugs into a watertight type housing. I normally always take photos of this sort of thing as when time comes to plug back together, you know what was where.

So now I have 2 fuses - a 10 amp and a 7.5 amp. Fuses are the same physical size and could fit into either of the female spade connectors.

So my question is: Which one goes where?

Appreciate all help. Cheers.

Have a look at the wiring on the plug.  The fuse on the side with the red/blue wire is the 7.5A fuse.

Those fuses are merely for the spotlights and pulling them serves no purpose.  All fuses on the LC are electronic.  There is no "Main fuse".  There is no other way to disconnect power, other than disconnecting the battery.
