990 instrument cluster

The instrument cluster's characters(dont really know what to call it) on the speedometer and heat guige is behaving like shit by not illumimating well or flickering , sometimes not coming on at all or coming on above 100kms/h only.

When you put pressure on certain areas of the cluster it light up perfectly. Loose connection or what?

Anyone experienced the same or can tell where to look or what to look for?
