Paternoster Restaurant: Dont go
« on: August 08, 2006, 01:30:53 pm »
Voorkamer op die stand or similar.

Dont go! Extremely expensive, NO value for money, food takes forever, and is of sad quality (black chips in my chips from rotten potatoes).

R70 for a fish and chips, flipping expensive, and took 1hr 10minutes to appear. And then they got the order wrong too, even though there were 5 of exactly the same kind ordered. UNREAL.

THIS PLACE - ps: the owner didnt seem to give a shit

But You must ask the locals where to go!
If you drive down to the beach there is a place that sells nice cheap fish and chips!  its more like a small take-away, Very Nice!
 :D
ome mistakes are too much fun to only make once. :-)

I was there earlier this year and also thought that the service was at best mediocre to below average!

Pity 'cause it is a great venue

We stayed over there a month ago & popped in for a drink & were given a lil attitude....i asked if the place had changed hands & they said no. Definately not 1st choice!
The thing is to phone them Lito & express your displeasure :) ;)

That red place on the beach - We were there last month in Jan 2013 - great place for view and drinks, but skip the food. Felt like we were served the fish off-cuts, horrible !!!

Was there 2 weeks ago- friendly service, tasty meal and cold wine. No complaints!

Beste vis en chip in die Weskus is defnitief by die kafee by die ingang na St Helenabaai se hawe.
