Doing a bit of searching on the web reveals that it was first launched in 2005!

Actually first shown at the tokyo Motor Show in 2003 :o

Its an age thing. Lecap will go with the farm bike, younger members with the tricker.

Was at Centurion Yamaha today and picked up on two pieces of news -

- The tricker will not be coming to SA after all. Apparantly it is too expensive and the current rand / dollar is not helping things.

- They ae expecting receipt of the 2009 XT 660R soon. Better colour scheme (blue) than the horrid black and orange currently on the floor. Oh yes, it will also have black rims. Expect price to be upwards of R75K.
