Greetings everyone,
As part of my search for the "correct" replacement motorcycle; I am considering either a 1150GS or the replacement model 1200GS. In terms of upkeep / maintenance / availability of parts; what would you recommend, if the sole purpose of the motorcycle would be for commuting purposes?
Some might say rather consider the F800GS because it is lighter on fuel; but the cost of an older F800 does not justify the means. Some dealers say that the 1150's give too many problems, but they don't have any on their shop floor ... only the 1200's ... is this becasue guys don't want to part with the 1150 because of its reliability?
Your comments / suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
PS: The images displayed are of a 2003 model 1150GS with 32,000km on the clock which I found and considering to purchase ...
