Little road up to the local settlement or something, didn't stay to find out and no one was there.

Various roads in the forest at houtbos

Dap Naude Dam

Nice view from top of mountain after some nice curly dirt mountain passes

Small waterfall behind the lodge on dap naude dam

Google earth view of the roads I took:
you can go much further, but I encountered a bakkie or two, and wasn't sure if I was allowed to be there.

Here is the track between pietersburg and tzaneen[/url]

I posted this because you asked, see my reply in your thread.
That trip was a weekend thing to pietersburg, saturday I played in the forest, and sunday I went back to pretoria via eastern transvaal, lydenburg, graskop etc.

EDIT: Oh right, it was 3 or 4 weeks ago

Can't believe how green it still is there!

Looks like a good area for DS riding.

Thanks Rooibaard. Nice pics.

RB, MMMMMMMHHH, we have a farm up there, see you did woodbush drive, it's absolutely beutiful. Those bluegums that you rode past are some of the tallest in the country and apperently a heritage sight.

nice trip.
