I have a 990s with progressive springs and some other work done to it by the previous owner. had the bike now for about 20 000km and today was the first day I decided to check the suspension, was on the basic-comfort side of things when looking at the manual. Adjusted everything to sport. Massively different. Harder everywhere.
Will see how this feels and maybe revert again to basic or comfort (comfort is suggested for hard-surfaced offroad riding) But I enjoy the less fork dive under braking on the sport setting.
basically comfort = hard surface offroad
basic = everywhere
sport = sand
full payload = two up with gear
What settings do you guys run where and how does it feel?
