From what I can see from the photo, this bike appears to be a 1982 Honda XL500R with some minor mods - i.e. spot light thinghy, funny mini-fairing, bigger 'camel' fuel tank.  The "prolink" system was introduced in 1982 (before that it was shocks and coil springs at the rear).  It was rate at 19.7kW @ 5500 rpm. and weighted in at 152kg, no disc's in the stopping department, and was specified to reach a top speed of 134 km/h (if you were still able to hang onto the handles - these beasts were known to outclass a jackhammer's vibrations by a factor of ten)
