This morning on my way to work on the N1 to Cape Town I came across a biker who was taken out by a car again. This happens quite a lot here on the N1  in the mornings on my daily commute. The guy who got taken out was standing on the phone and noticed the scratches and light blood on his hands and wrists and the first thing I thought of was he wearing gloves. I am seeing it more and more these days that a lot of the people travelling on bikes are not wearing gloves or a protective jacket. There is one girl on a scooter I pass regularly in winter and its raining and cold and she has no gloves on. I actually wanted to stop her and give her mine but my gloves would be too big for her. I find it crazy that people don't wear at least gloves and a decent jacket when commuting. What are your guys thoughts on the matter.
