Such an awesome country.
I am determined to drag the better half up there (she's never been north of Vanrhynsdorp!). Will be travelling by car, with dogs, and am on the prowl for easy-on-the-pocket friendly places to stay in the following regions:
Wide open for suggestions (places to stay as well as dorps to overnight in). I have seen very little of the country (on a dash to Windhoek). Really enjoyed the White House of Oom Dolf and Tannie Kinna fame in Grünau, but hoping to take a 3-day drive to Windhoek, and preferably over the border on Day 1. Always keen on places outside the bigger settlements/cities: so farms etc are good.

- Mariental
- Windhoek
- Swakopmund or Walvisbaai
