Vredefort Dome and surrounds
« on: February 11, 2018, 10:57:44 pm »
Anyone have some nice routes in and around Vredefort Dome? Heard about railway roads near Potch and Grootkloof Pass.  We are planing on spending the weekend.  Recommendations on accomodations would also be appreciated.

Here's a ride we did recently. Some gravel and sand but nothing hectic.

Thank you. Is there a way to pull this into Basecamp?

Click on the 3 little dots ... in the menu that extends select "Export to KML"
Open Basecamp and import/open the track .... you can muck about with it in Basecamp or  plug in your Garmin and "Send to device" it will automatically

Might not be 100% the procedure, (I don't have Basecamp loaded on my work machine ) but you should be able to figure it out from my (very) basic "how to"
