I remember reading and watching some of her stuff to do with this trip quite a while ago and my feelings then have been confirmed by watching the vid here.
Now I know some here will jump up and down and crucify me for what I am about to say so please go ahead as this is only my thoughts that I had then and still think the same. This girl came to Africa to ride a bike that someone had left in deepest darkest Africa that was pretty farked before she picked it up, she had "sponsors" that she could not let down but in all honesty did not actually have the funding to actually do the trip. I have watched these "ladies" over the years doing these trips and it always seems to be the same MO, make your way to where ever and bumb your way around taking advantage of peoples good nature, from what I can gather they are rug munchers who bat eye lids at men who due to testosterone levels are always willing to lend a hand and 9 times out of 10 it ends up biting them in the arse, plain and simple theory is,,, if you don't have the funds stay at home, if you are not technically proficient stay at home, if you are a whinging fucking snowflake,,, STAY AT HOME ! Africa is not for sissy's and touring Africa is not for people who can't help themselve's. To me she is the same as a certain bunch of fermale adventure riders that reside in SA,,, think that batting their eye lids at men will get them the help and discounts that they are always after,,, just my opinion!

If we have to be honest, the service wasn't up to par;  would we be happy and confident to climb into the saddle and go adventure riding if it doesn't go into gear, or even if the brakes were checked?
Even if the bike is in a sad condition, give the client the run down of faults so that they (she) can make an informed decision.

It's not even about the service she received to me as I was not there to hear what her instructions were from the start, she could have said "just fit the parts" which looking at her eye batting videos begging for help later on her tour is probably the "Balance of probability" in my eyes, when she posted the begging vid I and many others made the suggestion "Get a fucking job and work for what you need like the rest of us" !! Just have a look at how many women have done the touring bit through SA in the last two years expecting free service and all the rest,,, disgraceful if you ask me. Once again just my opinion.

To get that "run down" takes time and time has to be billed in order for the company to survive,, the question is " Did she ash them to go over the bike or just to perform certain tasks"?

Yes it takes time. Yes, time had to be billed. But running through, hell even just skimming through a bike is just part of good service. Do workshops now not give you good service if there seems to be no prospect of payment? Do they not give good service unless they are asked to? And, are clients the experts? Or the workshop? I thought workshops don't like it if clients tell them exactly what to do, but prefer it to have the client leave them to use their judgement in assesing and repairing vehicles?

She may be whiney, but that does not excuse the workshop from plain and simple shoddy workmanship.

It's terrible how some woman use their sexuality to manipulate men into doing what they want & need. How do I hate & want to bang her at the same time..

Make sure you lower the seat first, tune the gear lever and ensure the shocks are , well you know what I mean. Should be a smooth ride then.

Well if you did , you will spend the rest of your life explaining to all and sundry that your "performance" was not as bad as the video says.  :laughing4:
