I have no truck with this bird but the sense of entitlement and eye brow batting dosen't come from a vacuum.

Just watch when a pretty lady on a bike arrives and how all the guys fawn over them. Cant keep their eye of tits and arse. Offering help and advice asked for or not. Perhaps the girls realize the power of the 'box' and how easily most guys can be manipulated.

Always patronizing and trying to play the big guys. Chivalry is fine but know when to stop.

On a recent Kaokoland tour we did one of my clients was a 50kg quiet spoken middle aged women who looked more like a nun than a biker. No banter, no big talk but probably the best rider on any of last years tours.

But yes, this chick is a whiny self marketer who no matter how brave to tackle 'Africa' really shouldn't until she learns to look after herself and gets some basic bike maintenance knowledge.

Been awhile since I have seen such vitriol expressed by so many who probably never venture out their own backyards. Last time it was Charlie & Ewan who received the brunt of displeasure.

If only Rosie never ventured out her backyard. :thumleft:

Just go back to Operator's reply #27, it explains a lot.

i was going to write a complete chapter on my thoughts of some of the comments on this thread, but spotted this and it sums it all up perfectly, thanks pistonpete.
