Ok, first time I do this, not high of the ground, but the feeling was one of reaching for the sky.
Gone higher over speedbumps but there is something in going up an incline and jumping it.
I suppose that feeling goes away when you get used to it.

The sidestand caused the bike to cut out when landing. How do you prevent that?

The pic taken from a video thus the bad quality.

Disconnect that switch and learn not to ride off before checking. That switch is a permanent pain in the arse, there are many occasions when you need to keep the engine running with the sidestand out.
Nice pic, BTW. Who took it?

I read up on the switch a bit, does not sound like an easy job for disconnection with resistors and all.

Friend Vaughan took capture from his video taken on a Drift 170 I think.

Unfortunately no pics, but I flipped my IT200 yesterday.  Showing off.  Damn.  Then I had a seize on the way back home - not related.  So far the embarrassment has stopped me from worrying about the seize.   ;D

Legendary little scoot, that IT...

Some amazing pics on this thread... The boys on the army bikes.. Man!!! Does that bring back memories!! Remember chatting briefly to a young guy on an XR 200, who was just messing about on an adjacent field at that fees in Pretoria, in the mid eighties.. He simply redirected the hoisted little bike in my direction when I called him and proceeded to chat to me while wheelying slow, gentle circles around myself and my then girlfriend..

I am a little boy when it comes to this stuff, I am afraid..  ;D

Yeah Heddles, that little IT has given me hours of pleasure riding around the mine dumps of Maraisburg or playing at an old motorcross track near Tarlton.
I have had some  great weekend excursions with a few mates on the 600 XT and generally after not riding for close on 30 years the purchase of these 2 old warhorses has given me a new zest for life.

Thirty years!!! That is a long time without your butt touching a saddle.. quickly approaching fifty, I had a break of about 12 years without a bike but occasionally rode a multitude of them, belonging to friends etc..

Recently started a bit of a collection.. Possibly passion, nostalgia, fear of getting old... I don't know. What I do know, is that I have little chance of not having one before i die at this rate.. So from here, it's just a case of preserving the passion and memories..
Either way, they keep me busy and having fun...

The SE has a rubber strap, which you can attach to prevent the stand from "deploying" on rough terrain. Have a look and see if you can get a similar setup going on your bike...
