The 1st to the 3rd of September I decided to go and check out the Tail of the Dragon (N35 28.426 W83 55.250) (https://www.tailofthedragon.com) at Deal's Gap in North Carolina and Tennessee.

My opinion is that although that it was good, if you did the eastern Transvaal roads, you would not be so much impressed with the Dragon. I was kind of disappointed as the speed is 35 miles/hour and although you can take it up to 40, it is very slow and you don't really enjoy the curves. Also, it is very busy with bikers and some cars. This makes it very dangerous. But I did enjoy the scenery and the road is beautiful.

I also went on the Blue Ridge parkway (https://www.blueridgeparkway.org) and WOW! It is like riding through a fairy world of beautiful trees and the quit peaceful feeling is just amazing.

So, here goes with a few pictures.
