Need some help again.
One of my mates here has a 2010, 990 SMR.
Moto Hooligan Filter
Second Butterflies removed
Accro custom Map
Wings Pipes
AIS removed
Bike started sporadically idling up. Starts fine and while you are riding suddenly the idle jumps to 3,000 to 4,000 idle. Quite scary if you are riding in traffic.
You switch the bike off and restart and it returns to normal. Minutes later it will do at again. Does not happen consistency. Sometimes it does it and others it is normal.
No Fault codes detected.
New Battery installed, figured it could be a voltage problem. No Change
Flushed and reinstalled Map in ECU - No Change.
Only thing I am thinking is that it has to do with the idle stepper motor. Don't want to buy a new one for no reason.
Anyone have any experience with this?
