So this is the basic plan.
The 3 of us will meet up at Clarens on Tuesday evening of March 27th, 2018. The next day will take us down to Aliwal North and on the 29th we are booked to stay at Drol's place in Addo.
Thats all we have planned so far. Naturally we will find some gravel on the way, but the general thinking about this trip is to get to furthest point as quick as we can and then start working our way back - looking for roads and places we have not seen before.
I will try and update this tread as we go along, but failing that I will write a report when we're back home. Which will only be on April 4th, 2018.
So - anyone with suggestions as to where we should go and what we should see are welcome to share! Or join us for a beer or two along the route.
We want to spend as much time as possible in the saddle so we probably not want to do a lot of heavy stuff. Mostly easy riding. After all at 60 year old guy cannot pick up a laden GS ADV LC more than once!!
