Hi everyone

I have a question.  I bought my motorcycle last year this time.  The bike is currently in 36k km's.  The seller told me the chain and sprocket was replaced on 24k km's.

During last week I hear clunking noises,  Anyway, long story short the sprocket is ready to be replaced.  The teeth are bent.
I thought the sprocket would last longer.

Questions:
1. Is it possible that the sprocket replaced by the seller was of poor quality?

2. Or am I driving like a twatwaffle?

3. If I am driving like a waffle, what can I change to extend the life of my next sprocket?(other that keeping it clean ofc)
