My pooratec mods and prep work I have done to my KLE500 for my Namibia trip

...I hope you sorted out that KLE seat, they are notoriously uncomfortable. I did a trip to Port Alfred in one day on my KLE a while back. Iron butt doesn't even begin to describe the agony

When I got the seat it had been modified to make it lower. I took it to a guy who sorted out the foam for me, reshaped it and recovered the seat in 3 hours.. R350.. deal

All back safe.. the KLE had a few issues

1) Front bumper snapped out of the pop rivit
2) Battery said goodbye
3) Both front fairings snapped at connect point
4) Clutch switch went faulty
5) starter clutch started packing up
6) lost my numberplate and tail tidy somewhere

So besides a few scratches and bumps all went very well.. just a few cosmetics to patch up

Checked the air filter when i got back and all I can say is that the snorkel on that airfilter is useless, it comes off with a bit of force.. chuck it away

I thought your KLE was wrapped, last time I saw it I think it was Army Green.. why did you sell it? its a brilliant bike

Hi , I had sprayed it green but HJE didnt like the colour so he sprayed it blue . I loved that bike but I eventually sold that one and another kle that I had because I bought a GS 800

I bought the KLE for my son because he is really small and short, its the perfect bike.. I really enjoy riding it, solid.
