World MX champs
« on: September 07, 2008, 08:13:13 pm »
Happened to catch the first moto of the Luxembourg MX 2 GP today.  I won't splab the results and maybe spoil it for someone who taped it, but our boy Tyla Rattray only needs a 4th in one of the two motos left (next week, I think)  to win the MX2 world championship.

He's been close 2 or 3 times before getting sidelined with injuries.

Now that is good news. Greg Minnaar from Pietermaritzburg is close to a world downhill bicycle title. Greg is also a bleddy good dirt bike rider.

No coverage anywhere here but I go on to Youthstreams web site the results and info. Better than naught.

It's a friggin' motorcycle, it's not supposed to be comfortable, quiet or safe. The windnoise is supposed to hurt your ears, the seat should be hard and riding it should make you scared every now and then. Suck it up. -- Scary Gary Mc

He has a 33 point lead with 50 point left up for grabs.
