I once road past this unusual building , on a previous ride with Droffarc and wondered what it was.
This time we stopped and climbed over the fence to take a closer look.
At first impressions it looks like an old Boer War Fort or somthing.
But it had a date on it 1911
So I googled it and found out it is a Lime/Porcelain Kiln
Some more pics.
This pic is off the net of a Kiln in England dating to the early 1800`s , which the community have restored and made a feature in the towns history.
Hence the name of the road that this Kiln is on , perhaps just a co-incident.
PORSELEINBERG PAD or PORCELAIN ROAD !
