My name is Stuart, I'm from the last outpost (Durbs).
I'm new to biking in a serious way. I have just bought myself a SR500, it is in boxes and pieces. The PO was in the process of chopping it so I'm not going to restore it but rather tern it into a Cafe-street-bob-brat-racer (I know very original)
I'm not new to classic transport though, I have owned a 1977 VW Kombi for the last 10 or so years and it is my daily driver. I have owned bikes in the past as well. I ha a 1980 CB750 for a while and sold it when we fell pregnant with my son.
Im going to be picking your brains for how to get this old girl rolling under her own power, Ill start a build thread for that
