I have been taken out by a car once, it was and still is my greatest fear.

I've always had these thoughts and it worried me that this negative energy would attract an accident, on the other hand it is a positive way of avoiding what you don't want.
I don't know, but I try to put the thoughts out of my head when I get them.

Actually the way I feel these days, being taken out by a car would be a blessing - and as long as it' relavtively quick, I'm good with it.

I'm still freaking about the petty BS of picking up my bike - my new one apparently weighs 3x more than my body weight and although I am by no means a wimp, this scares me and although practise practise practise will of course make me feel better.

However, it will make most prob open me up to a new fear

The condom thing is my biggest fear and picking up EV after that first fall. Not looking forward to December.

Girls falling off and having to wait for someone to come along and help is not that bad - I guess what would be scary is falling off and being seriously hurt and having to wait for someone to come along and help. Not that it would stop me from riding on my own if the only other choice is staying at home subjecting the animals to my company

I don't like rain when riding. Especially here in Nairobi where the roads turn to snotgladde mud and muck. Combine that with hundreds of unroadworthy vehicles with drivers with stolen/bought/bribed licences and you have a recipe for disaster.

On a lighter, or perhaps more serious, note, I also fear the fact that I may only have 30 odd years of riding left.
