I Still have to stock Contis on my 1190 , friend has a set of Karoo3 on his , we just did a trip to ET this past weekend and to me the Karoo s handled very nice , he said they gripped well for knobblies . My tires have done close on 14k km s and we are planning to go down to Margate for the bike festival and want to ride their via Lesotho , ( down Sanipass) will the Contis be ok , or should I rather fit a set of knoblies ? Also in the planning is to return via the eastern-cape . Possible dirt roads .
Another question I need to know is , advisable to change the settings from Sport to Offroad . and reduce tire presure for the dirt road sections?
While in ET this past week end we visited our friends that stayed at a trout farm , we had to cover some dirt road , found the bike a little loose . did not change any settings for this . possible cause .
