Hi guys
Is it recommended to clean motorcycle carbs often and then how often is often?
Recently I have seen in two threads where carbs of running motorcycles were opened up and there was a significant amount of crap in the float bowls. Some time ago I took the filter bowl off my Tornado fuel tap and saw similar crap in there that had me wondering how much of that is sitting in the carb.
Some would argue that if it is working fine don't bother, but this might count as preventative maintenance. So again my question: how often?
